vibrating clutch pedal

hey guys,

im the proud owner of a 1984 hj47 pickup and have been browsing through the site for about 12 months (cruiser heaven).

for the last few months i have noticed the clutch pedal vibrating when i depress or release it under load at about 2000 rpm or higher. i have searched the site and havn't really found an answer im hoping someone out there can help me.

before i go about spending money on new clutch cylinders etc i thought id ask the question

Hi and welcome.
Your problem sounds more like it is in the clutch plate or bearing.
Do you usually use the clutch at 2000+ rpm ?

well i guess i usually change gear around 1500rpm occasionaly its 2000rpm and i more hear the vibrating pedal more than feel it.

in the near future i will be putting in new clutch and get the flywheel machined cause my original thoughts were perhaps a slightly warped flywheel, but im no expert.

i dont have a link as yet for my pics something i need to work on.

A warped flywheel would be constant vibration, as it's bolted to the crankshaft. The clutch throwout bearing is likely the culprit. If you take it all apart, machine the flywheel and put a new clutch and throwout bearing in there - you're going to be fine.
