July Club Run

Where/When:
Meet at Hammond Bay Serious Coffee at 9:00am Sunday July 10th.
6357 Hammond Bay Rd, Nanaimo, BC V9T 5Y1

Details:
Come prepared for a day of good fun wheeling. Bring your own beverages/lunch (unless someone volunteers to make a club lunch). Make sure you have a full tank of fuel, recovery gear, emergency gear, tools, a spare tire, etc.

its about time we get together, drive up some dirt roads, hit the trails, make some burgers, have some laughs and drive back home. aka a club run.

Jim and Rob seem to be all over the place these days, finding new roads and views...I suggest we head up to the Nanaimo region and hit those trails! how does early July sound? gives us a couple weeks to figure out times and a good location.

In my perspective as of late..

We did our North issh trip last year in a dust bath..I think we should talk and revisit some earlier dates after my last journey to the western coast.. creeks were running, waterfalls flowing, so much nicer than our desert tour last year and not complaining just comparing,.

Looks like I probably can't do the big multi-day run this year, but I am definitely up for a day run asap! Sundays work best for me, but can probably make other days work.
 
A 1 or 2 day run around Bamfield/Nitinat area is easy too. I don't know many technical 4x4 areas out there but I know some cool spots and it is easy access through Lake Cowichan for Nanaimo and Victoria people.

I'm out for next weekend, heading camping thursday friday night and heading to the car show sunday
 
I'm planning on camping at Pachena Bay July 8-10 (as long as the confirm my reservation).

Would be neat to do some exploring around the area at that time, the B24 crash north of Flora Lake is pretty neat, and Looper canyon just near Nitnat is a cool place for a swim if you don't mind cold water

Hey Graham, there is a really good chance OceanCable (New owner of Steve's HDJ81) and I can do that. Just confirming with our 'bosses', haha. We could still make a small run of it even if not everyone can join....
 
Anyone available to do a run this Sunday July 10th? I'd suggest the Saturday, but my missus is working and I have to take care of the yard apes, so I'd be out.

Sooke or Nanaimo?
