Very stiff shifter lever - anyone know how to remove this trim?

I also did a thorough clean of my throttle body at the same time, but I assumed the issue was related to the MAF sensor.

I also did a thorough clean of my throttle body at the same time, but I assumed the issue was related to the MAF sensor.

Mine is relatively new, I can't imagine a 2015 has issues with the throttle body being gunked up, but could be wrong.

It's strange how it comes and goes when it sits for too long. It's like the cable gets too seated into its sleeve or something.
