Please help.
I have been looking into importing a BJ74 into the UK form Japan. I know this has been discussed at length and have read through the posts here. My question is about the differences in models.
Most of the trucks in Japan seem to be BJ74s. Can someone please tell me the difference between a BJ70 / BJ71 / BJ74 / HZJ71 / HZJ73 etc
I take it that the BJ and HZJ have different engines (Am I right that the HZJ is a 3,0 litre?)
What is the difference between a BJ70 / 71 / 74 - is it year of manufacture, wheelbase or some other difference. From looking at pics, it seems the 74 has a fibreglass roof - is this all that sets it apart from the others?
I know these are simple questions but I know very little about 70 series. I have a 60 and a 40 and for a while an 80. My needs have changed and as it is only me and the dog in my truck I fancy something more compact than the 60
