Hello There,
New to the forum but I have a LC 200 VDJ 200 year 2009.
Been running fine since purchased around 10K km ago
The vechicle is fitted with a 1VD-FTV W/O EGR system a cats originally no oil burn noted so far
Got a question reg crankcase ventilation. Is there any harm to the engine to vent crankcase gases to atmosphere?
IE: run a hose into a canister with steel wool and drilled vent holes and plug the intake port to the turbo inlet hose?
To avoid oil in turbo, intercooler and on intake valves
I know I can fit a catch can but there is no emissions regulations here
Hard to get any real good info on this
Thanks for any help
John
