ok folks, so right now we are expecting

lx450landcruiser (mike)
montanacruiser (nat)
semlin (simon)
dieseldan (dan)
canadian rig (??)

see you at 8:30 at the esso station. I might be a few minutes behind as nat and I have to clear my RTT through customs at sumas, but hopefully we've allowed enough time for that.

Anybody else who is coming (kim, enigma, riley, dan82) by all means you are welcome to show up but unless you check in on this thread tonight we won't be expecting you.

the weather forecast suggests we will be passing throught around the time of a break in the rain. if we're lucky no rain for a good part of saturday.

only other item to consider bringing is some dry kindling and logs for those camping. We'll be ok once we get going but a couple of starter logs might help ;)

Sorry Simon I've got too involved with work all week (till now). I've got a full saturday tomorrow with Keegan's soccer and need to buy a stove for the wifey.

Have fun guys and wish I'd be able to meet all the guys.

I've got a few dry logs to get us started, not enough for the night, but it will get the coals going.

If we stop at dark (which is early now) I wonder if I have enough   may have to supplement at the Esso ;)

ok well let's call that the wettest run ever. holy man that was ridiculous.

i was great to meet you guys. apologies again that the route was in such good shape! i never would have believed we would make nahatlatch by lunchtime.

anyway all my photos have a water or weather theme which seems appropriate.

i'm sure i could have focussed better if someone hadn't been puring a bucket of water on my head at all times

That was insanely wet even by rainforest standards (we're expecting 70mm today in Chilliwack!!)

No complaints as we had a nice time and learned a new route through the mountains - thanks for loaner radios, we'll be better prepared next trip.

Cheers.

Wet indeed, but I could not have had a better time! Great to meet everyone and we will have to make sure and get it together again soon! Thankfully I was able to follow Mike back across the border with little hassle. Simon, thanks again for the 12 pack, thats the best Lager I have had in a long time, I need to find a supplier! Here are some additional pics;
