That’s awesome!! Glad you found and good work getting the pans off.

Pro tip for the valve cover bolts, you can always go back and drill it out and fix with helicoil. If you look closely at my second pic you can see I helicoiled all the #2 pan threads in the #1 oil pan. Aluminum is easy to drill and tap and helicoil will make everything stronger.

no luck fishing it out with magnets the past couple hours...

the nut I dropped in there was stainless -- as in not magnetic.

ha, definitely entertaining and I'd guess we've all been in a similar situation even if some of us have long forgotten them.
