Hey, How did you mount this tach. Did you just press it into the opening?

Since this came back up to the top. I checked my tach against an aux one and mine read 1900 RPM when the aux one said 2000. It was closer at lower RPMs so I suspect that the error will increase as RPMs increase. I drive like a :princess: and rarely run up over 3K so that's plenty good for me! and boy was the price right.

Dremmeled out the stock hole until it just BARELY fit with pressure. Sucker ain't coming out.

BTW, I ended up cutting a hole in the back of the ProTach unit so that I could run separate grounds for the light and gauge itself. This allows the light to work correctly with the dimmer switch.
