Used tent score

Picked up a Coleman cabin tent off Facebook groups a week or so ago. I really want a Kodak or a spring bar but simply can't afford it. Well this pops up for $50. Screens zip shut and seems pretty heavy duty for a Coleman. I have found a couple bad spots that need repair. One of the loops in. The middle of the tent has started to tear away from the tent. Second there is a small hole about the size of a nickel in one corner. Going to try to patch the hole somehow and sew the hoop back as well. 13x9 is the size. Even with the two bad areas I am very pleased with my find. Looks to have never been used.

NICE!!! I scored a trek canvas tent for 200 bucks last summer. just gotta get some time to go try it out!

Camping gear and outdoor gear are great to pick up used. Most of it is barely used and half the price or less of buying it new. I have gotten all my kayaks and canoes used.

Lots of cool and pricey gear out there that is tough to afford (I keep eyeballing the Oztents...) especially if you have kids, college and life in general. But just getting out there in this tent is all it takes to make some great memories. Kids don't care how expensive the gear is. They think it all is very cool.

Nice find.
Tenacious Tape worked great fixing a few small holes in our pop-up tent trailer.
A curved upholstery needle and some nylon thread should fix the loop.
