I'm a newbie here so I beg forgiveness if something like this has been asked already.

I've been looking for a 100 for about 6 months now and have done lots of research. Just recently I've decided that I'm just gonna go all the way and get a 200 series, however I'm not as knowledgeable on these. I've located a 2009 with just under 150k miles a couple states over from me and the dealer is taking it to the local Toyota dealer for a pre-purchase inspection. Doing some poking around here I see that the radiator crack could be an issue and and cam head leaking.

Is there anything else that I could ask them to take a look at for me before I make a trip to buy it? Should I even say anything to them? I mean they're the professionals, I'm just some guy.

You already mentioned two biggies (can tower possibility and radiator).

Water pump & starter tend to go by that age.
Good chance they’ve already been replaced.
150k and 10 years is actually over-due for radiator. If you see the crack forming...it’s gonna go any day.

Like the 100-series, one of the biggest going in choices is whether to go with an LC or LX. You might already know which you are going with. If there's any question, I'd encourage you to do a lot of research in this area. Though both solidly 200-series, there's more significant differentiation in the 200-series. There's opportunities and gotchas depending on what direction you want to take it. Early LX's, including the 2009 model got practically everything. The LC in later model years picked up more and more goodies.
