Reading between the lines, it's been suggested that the Land Cruiser series may live on in the states only as a Lexus LX vehicle.

As much as I love the LX over the standard Land Cruiser, I sure hope that is not the case. A 50 year long heritage nameplate should not be cancelled lightly.
