So I know that folks upgrade the early model 80 series Landcruisers that have the flapper MAF to the better resistance type MAF that come on the 96-98 series FZJ80's. Is there a similar procedure/way to do this on a 92 pickup for better metering?

IIRC, LCE sells both an MAP sensor and heated resistance type MAF kits to upgrade from the L-Jetronics VAFM but I can't think of any direct swap units like the 80 guys have

^^^ yes they do, but they require a computer add on and $$$. MAF comes from a tacoma I believe. I know someone that has one for sale.

Is it worth doing the upgrade? Should I just be planning on dropping a complete Tacoma motor instead like the write up on Pirate 4X4? Or should I just be happy with what I have?
