just throwing it out there, but has anyone tried upgrading the H3 bulbs in the hella 500 housings? I now have some 100 watt halogens from an auto parts store in mine and the Hellas perform just ok. Just thinking maybe an led would draw less power (now that I have a new stereo amp and a ham radio sharing the alternator output) and hopefully perform better.
I have seen some people upgrade to HIDs too and even 100w halogen bulbs from vision x, but I am mostly interested in trying the LED route. Of course at some point, I will probably buy new Baja design or vision x Offroad lights but for now maybe a bulb upgrade would suffice. Any thoughts?
