Paint is drying ... had to do some tig welding over mig... and then add a few gussets ... will add another bar in front, just above the dash... but need to have it in before i can do that...

Then some POR15, and some hammered silver tremclad.. the hammered affect didnt really work so well but i do like the silver... my whole tub is black.. thats why i chose a silver paint...

cant wait to pull the old one out and put the new to me one in... then i will tie it into the frame...

yep jays old one... so it was preassembled
 
tig is good.. i went over 95 percent of the welds.. tig welding over mig is not fun if anyone is curious
 
they weren't bad welds, just need a little lovin. I inspect welds all day so if the boys at the shop saw it, I would never hear the end of it.
 
Two large lads and a cruiser landed on that thing, held up pretty good:D...They tried climbing a tree with a cruiser, not such a good idea:rolleyes:..
 
i was there to winch them back over.. ;)
 
Been a year... but final got it in with the help of Dan-O...

I wish.. work keeps me busy.. here is when I pulled it out of the long sleep.... garage has so much more room...

Will be doing the fine adjustments this weekend.. cutting and welding
