That sounds like a Trails article in the making!

Done for now. And hopefully really done, short of maintenance/the tub falling off.

Seats are much more comfortable. Definitely tolerable for my titanium laden spine. Look a bit better too.

Electrical short was in the radio. Radio is in the trash.

I'd need to look at the receipt to know why it wasn't running right. I know I had a vacuum hose hooked up incorrectly. Something else to do with fuel. Other mechanical blah blah. Runs great now and got nearly 15 mpg on the way back from Atlanta.

All the gauges work except for the fuel gauge. Sending unit bolts too rusty to come out without becoming a major project. They gave me a fuel can. Problem solved.

I can't say enough nice things about ACC Toyota. They dialed this truck in, no problems. Very professional. Nice shop, nice guys. Nice dog.

all kinds of awesomeness.

Great news Todd! Bring it to GSMTR!!

It really does look great. I can't believe the pics from the first page to now! Fantastic work....

Yeah I remember picking that thing up and watching paint and parts flying off all the way back to Jackson! lol

Still happening. Miller and I stopped for lunch on the way home and found a big hunk of yellow something sitting on the driver's side floorboard. These are chunks that I hacked off and then lost though. The parts flying off now are pretty well limited to under the vehicle.

You gonna bring it to GSMTR?

It's bringing me. Also hopefully back home.

I hate to make you seem as old as me :crybaby: but that was a long time ago that we first met at that creek crossing at GSMTR. And you're still driving the same truck.

Well it could be a different one. I had a 74 before this 78. The 74 went many times. Funny and sad at the same time.

Missed you when you picked up the 40 this past weekend. I was there...under my truck fixing a leaky axle. See y'all at GSMTR.
