Taking my "new" FJ62 and going double batt, upgraded headlight harness, etc. IN doing so, I've run across a space issue. As seen in the first pic, everything seems to fit...

However, the Silencer is not installed. I think it'd fit well attached to the wheel well. But would need someone to fab me a bracket. Anyone know who could do that? Any issues from putting it here (i.e., heat?) Seems like the drain hose would still be able to exit below. I'd have to re route the inlet hose from the ASV though.

I'd appreciate thoughts before I go much further.

As a better looking option, it will fit below the stainless tray for the 2nd battery (Driver's side). The "drain port" can be shortened and will exit the same place as before. I'll still have to reroute a new line from the ASV.

So I'd need a way to bolt this to the front of the fender well, or just below the headlamps.

Again, any source who can make a bracket would be helpful.

thx

Try running without the silencer, I've had mine out for about 3 years without noticing any extra noise.

OK. After installing the stainless tray, and headlamp harness controller, I'm out of space.

The "silencer" is just sitting below the tray for now, until I figure out:
1) what it does
2) do I really need it (don't think an inspector would want to pull the battery and tray to see it there. I could just connect a hose that direction and they'd never know...
3) If I do, how to mount it down there.

In the following pic, you can see I rotated the ASV. That gave me room for the overflow container. Now I have to run 2 new hoses to the rest of the emissions equipment (not including the Silencer).

Help appreciated. Resuming work tomorrow.
