UN3 roof top tents....Anybody got one...

While I was browsing the internet, I came across this roof top tent and seems like a pretty good deal.. It is from a company called un3.. I guess it is new.. I was wondering if anyone has dealt with this guy/company or comments on the quality of the product.. These tents almost look identical to those offered by ezi-awn..Seems like a good deal at 999.00 bucks..Comes with changing room and entension for ladder etc.. Any comments or suggestions? They have ads all over craigslist. I emailed him a few days ago and this was his response.

These tents are made by MombasaUSA (see www.mombasausa.net), the leading manufacturer/importer of mosquito netting into the US. About 7 years ago they expanded the application for their netting by building the roof top tent (http://www.roof-top-tent.com/). The tents are MombasaUSA's proprietary design. The tents are manufactured in China in a factory owned by MombasaUSA.

I have one of the first generation tents, which was well constructed with the exception of an overly complicated ladder design. These new 3G tents are really well built. I may be biased, but I think these tents compare favorably with South African and Italian roof tents that cost much more. Funny, i like how they pump up all the "FREE" stuff you get with it.
Most of those items are SUPPOSED to come with it!!!

Oh yeah and nobody pays $1,600 for it! That's just jibberish.
Looks like Mombasa doesnt keep a real good price policy with
their resalers. Seems like anyone can sell them for whatever
they want. Strange.

Their smoking sale price is what normal pricing is everywhere
else. In fact, car-top-tent is selling them for $899.

It's a Mombasa, they just have a bunch of distributors in USA, that's all.

We have it on our rig and it's works great.
