Kind of random, but maybe one of you rockstars has some experience you can share. You all seem to know everything about everything
I've had sports injuries all my life, but now those injuries are chronic and never really leave. I've had good luck with ultrasound during PT, but I never go often enough, or stop going once well, but the injuries will inevitably come back. Its currently knee pain from an old meniscus tear...
I started looking into consumer grade units, but many seem very cheap. My question is what brands or features should I look for in a consumer unit and whether looking for an older/used professional grade unit is worth while (ie. not too much $$$ for something with life left)? Not sure what parts wear and how to test.
Anyway, thanks for any advice you have regarding the viability of home ultrasound treatment.
