I am pretty sure that doing my own rear ubolt flip kit would be easy, but what I am wondering is, what ubolt plate should I get? I just did the 63" rear springs with a 2" block and now I am wanting to do the flip kit but without waiting for it to come if I order it.

most people modify the chevy spring plates to work over top of the leaf spring.

All you need is two round u-bolts per side (make sure you get them for whatever your axle tube size is, IFS rear axle, 79-95 etc.) and a couple plates to go over the top of the leaf springs with the holes drilled in the proper spots for the ubolts to go through. If you don't have the capabilities take your ubolts to a machine shop (or welding shop, they usually have the equipment) and have them make a plate the has 4 holes in it spaced properly for your leaf spring width, and spaced so that the u bolts will fit through, and get the hole drilled in the proper spot for your center pin. After the pain and hassle if you don't have the tools to do it yourself, it may end up being worth it to buy a u-bolt flip kit, IME it ends up costing as much as buying the u-bolts seperately and having the work done to make a plate. Otherwise, find a friend with a drill press and a few plates of steel big enough to make your own, then find some u-bolts and go to town. I bet FJ60 spring plates would work flipped upside down, because they are meant to wrap around a 2.5 inch spring, rather than an axle tube like minitrucks. the only issue might be the size of the FJ60 ubolt being designed for a larger axle tube than a toyota mini has, but it may fit an IFS axle properly.
