So, I've got the top off so I can deal with the fiberglass top. Someone tried to paint the sides of the hard top red to match the rest of the cruiser, but didn't paint the inside top. And now the clear coat of the outside is shot and looks horrible. I don't want to try to match the top and then end up with a close match and a shiny top and the oxidized tub of my 40. So, then I saw this.

What do you think of the white top? Me thinks it could be a good solution.

Personally, I don't like it and wouldn't buy one for my 40 but YMMV. Is it South American-made? They do some funky stuff down there, particularly in Colombia.

Personally, I think the 40 in that photo looks fantastic. I don't think I've ever seen one painted that way before, and I'm sure the purists hate it, and maybe that makes me like it even more.
