Hi all,

Obviously the shorter a vehicle is, the better its turning circle...

Given a fixed model like say a 70.. would a BJ70 have a worse turning circle than an LJ70 ? both the same ?

I believe they should be identical. The springs and axles are different, but the steering knuckles/trunion location is the same.

skinny tires or shortest backspace difference on the wheels would allow you to tighten a bit, or you could always get some go cart wheels, there's a guy on here that has some.

I am sure someone will chime in if I am wrong but I would guess the turning radius would be almost identical when comparing BJ's & LJ's. (comparing apples to apples)

shrt vehicle = tight turning circle is incorrect. if you've ever tried a u turn in a small GM car, you know of which I speak.

the pajero can't turn on a donkey trail either, the patrol is about the same as a 70.
