Does anyone know the thread size in the turn signal stalk housing? Used to tighten the housing to the steering column.

I believe it’s 4mm x 0.75. I just reinstalled mine last week. I can double check it in the a.m.

Well, dammit. I can send a 6mm straight through and not engage any threads. So clearly this piece is fully stripped out. Any suggestions on how to remedy the situation?
Tap the hole to the next size up that doesn't fit. 6mm is like a 1/4 inch so something 8mm or 5/16 or 3/8. You can then use this size bolt and be done. Or you can make an insert with a threaded inner hole 4mm x 0,7 and a outer thread of whatever and epoxy it in.
Whoa, whoa, whoa! Many apologies … my brain jumped to the lower switch mount on the column. The upper column collar is quite large, like an 8 or 10 mm x 1.5, perhaps. I’m away from the house right now. I’ll confirm as soon as I get home.
