Turn Signal Cancel

I've got a question for anyone thats cured a turn signal that wont auto cancel in one direction. 1971 FJ55 turn signal self cancels when its signaling right turn but wont self cancel when left turn. Bought a used but "good" switch installed it same deal? Cancels right wont left. Little strange two switches with same problem so I have to believe its something else probably? Little pins on bottom of the wheel look good.

So anyone have any ideas? Any help appreciated.

Only make right hand turns, problem solved! Sorry but I couldn't pass that one up.
Try jacking up the front and try the turn signals while stationary and see if you can get them to cancel by turning the wheel the full range of motion. Start isolating parts of the system. Perhaps pull the wheel and see where it makes contact. Never had this problem just thinking out loud how to possibly diagnose the issue.
