So I went on a test drive today after replacing my chirpy washers on my BP-51 suspension. After confirming the annoying chirp was gone I decided to measure the improvement in turning radius from CDL locked, CDL unlocked, and CDL unlocked with crawl and turn assist on.
The result is pretty much as expected but I didn’t have a good feel of how much real difference turn assist would make. Turn assist made about a 2’ improvement in turn radius over just unlocking the CDL.
