Hi all, my brother just got neat BJ74 1989 model, it has this cool turbo light system. Can anyone shed some light on how it all works? High and low boost pressure?
Thanks

The manual you have seems to explain it pretty well... what's the question really about?

Green light comes on at about 2 PSI or so and the amber light comes on at about 15 PSI or so, and when the amber comes on the green goes out.

Is that all you wanted to know?

Thanks John, just wanted to know high/low settings roughly. Green light comes on around 1500rpm haven't put a boost gauge on yet. All in good time though.

RPM does not determine boost. Try coasting down a hill in 5th gear at 1500RPM and you will not make any boost. Now try the same thing going up the hill and you will quickly see the difference. No load on motor equals no boost. Big load on motor equals lots of boost

Actually when I said it's working I meant to be referring to a video I saw of it working. However lights come on when ignition turns on but no green light at all when driving. Where ate the low/high switches located? I can find the ones for 4wd and aircon and engine shut off. Might be missing?? Photos wire diagram would be great. Thanks
