A large woman in ill-fitting leather pants.

I installed SOR's Tuff Duck seat covers last week. They look fantastic, but the "noise" they make when I sit, change position, go over a bump, etc., is downright ANNOYING---So much so that I've considered pulling them. The issue (I think) is the friction between the leather seat back and the vinyl backing of the Tuff Ducks.

Anyone else experience this?? Does the solution equal patience and time until they loosen up, or is this just a characteristic of a well-fitting cover.....?

Thanks,
Justin

put some type of cloth between the seat cover and seatback

they were noisy when new about a year ago. they've quieted down since then.

Maybe try spraying the leather down with silicone?

I appreciate the feedback. I am going to try and place a piece of fabric in between the leather and the tuff duck an see if it'll put a stop to the noise. Interesting others have had the same experience.

Thanks,

JWP

Been looking at a set, so eager to hear your experience quieting them down.

I got the seat covers in both 80's and have never noticed the noise. Maybe I'm starting to lose my hearing.:hillbilly::lol:

if you get tired of the noise, let me know if you want to sell them
