87 4runner, so not entirely too sure why, but my truck doesn't like when it's raining... this is an ongoing issue I've been having. whenever it's rains, and I go drive somewhere, both my timing and idle will change and my truck runs rough, next day with no rain, it'll run just fine without a problem. any ideas as to where to start to look?

There are some places in the wire harness that control the injectors that may be shorting. Re-soldering and sealing these can help.

Also, you may have a leak in the passenger front fender well allowing water to enter and soak your computer. Check that out as well.

I ended up relocating mine to the glove box due to water issues.

Your fresh air intake is under the cowling just to the right of the glove box. Also check to see if the grommet/gasket around the ECU going through the firewall is in good shape.

Every time I wash the engine compartment mine has issues.

Maybe condensation in the dizzy or coil?

Heat cycles can cause small cracks that can let moisture. I haven't heard of it on a truck, but it happens a lot on old motorcycles.

I've got rid of the 22re about 6 months ago and I'm having trouble recalling which parts are susceptible to water issues.

Great!
