hi iam having trouble starting my old 1987 hj75. 2h 450 k's on the clock
being winter it take alot of mucking about to get her going in the mornings and if i hasn't been used it for a few days but if its been started its right for the rest of the day if it not really cold. it will crank over a few times then start and run for a very short time ( a few seconds) then die like as if it have been turned off this goes on until the battery runs out of power. Have pull out the glow plugs and tested them all seem to work but one out of 6 was wet with diesel/oil i cleaned and tested and is working.

just thought somone out there may have had the same trouble and can help me with this problem

thanks

Prior to rebuilding my 2H , it would occasionally shut down after the first start due to a SLOW rise in oil pressure. This issue went away after the oil was warm.
Oh by the way, welcome to 'Mud.
