Trouble removing steering damper threads.

Hey fellas ive just pulled my steering damper off, i need to get these dogs off but i cant figure out a method. I see a square hole in the centre of the treadbut it is already stripped and shallow as ****. thanks

Double nut, if no joy…. Vice Grips, if no joy…. Grinder…..
And penetrating oil……lots of penetrating oil….

I confess I've never removed a damper before, but from the drawing it appears the a seal is removed to reveal a "ring" underneath. The drawing isn't clear, but the ring could be a spring clip. Just my WAG.

Never did one either. Maybe the big thick washer/seal is a nut. The pic 45700 seal looks like it had flats and the shaft on the other side looks like a taper with splines. Maybe try an pry off a cover on the front thick washer/seal unit to reveal some wrench flats - no joy; then maybe a pipe wrench. Could be lefty tightly.

that seal is steel and it on there good

no luck with double nut, vice grips, wd40. just the grinder but i dont want to ruin that seal

been bashing it with a big hammer heaps of wd40 no luck

solved, i just cut the bolt off and drilled through it
