IMHO anything made by Toyota with the word Cruiser in the model is (or should be) welcome! So bring those FJ Cruisers out!

I love the new FJ's, just wish Toyota would have gone the extra mile with solid front axle and crawler gears and beat the Rubicon out of the box.

Anyway, I'm planning on hanging out at least a couple of hours. But since I have to drive the 40 home, I'll have to work hard to limit my consumption

Anyway, is it set? Sunday at 5PM at Woody's??? (Besides you Stacy)Anyone else planning on bringing the wife/girlfriend/both?

Ramon

Ramon, I asked my wife to join us, we'll see if she does. IMHO spouses and significant others should be welcome.

And yes it's set:

Woody's in Cary 5PM Sunday March 11.

Look forward to meeting you folks!

well if they don't visit this site then shame on them Jerry. :flipoff2:

you need to help convert them.:D

You are absolutely right. I got one response. Many are gun shy due to getting blasted in some initial postings, that whole "aint a land cruiser" thing.

But, I'll keep working them. I know there are a few lurkers and I hope to get them here or at UC.

I'm game and yes I was/am a lurker from the FJ Cruiser Forums.

Hopefully someone can tell/show me where to take my mall cruiser to get it dirty so my wife and friends will stop making fun of me.

Look forward to seeing everyone's toys so to speak.

FJC's are Land Cruisers... This is a Land Cruiser site. So they are welcome. AND we've seen Jerry and two other FJC's at URE when the North meats South Trail ride. FJC's are very capable and are worthy of the name. Even when they still have paper tags on them and fully stock.. I had my doughts about them, but after seeing them on the trail, my doughts are gone. Hubby and I have actually looked at adding an FJC to our family.

Eric has to work till 5, so we are not sure if he will make it. I'm going to try to make it out there.

We would love to have more of you join us on the trials.. URE Opens next month!!!!!

Daniel isn't as bad as some make it out to be. Having the right vehicle helps a lot.

She's right. knowing which line to take and having the right spotter really helps. I had a lot of help my first time there and now it's no trouble at all. I think there are tougher sections on other trails there that don't have bypasses.

I agree and thank to you guys, I feel much more comfortable on Daniel. So, now I can torture the wife and kids...

lol...nice....make'm squirm, but not too bad. we want to make sure they have fun and come back. looks like we are going to be out for tomorrow. the 40 has a massive vibration in the drivers front tire. I am at work with it now and hope to get it fixed soon, but I am not counting on it. hopefully it's just something simple like a bolt in the tire.

well I got the vibration fixed and the headlight issue. the headlights were kinda odd. it ended up being a blown fuse but it looked fine. the element was perfect, but the end cap pulled off and was separated. never would have found it had I not checked it with a meter. still looks like I am not going to be able to make it. Maybe next month if you guys get together when I am off, I will make it for sure.....then again URE opens next month too.
