did some research on the OP's topic. The 2014-2015 TRD intake can fit our trucks with the use of the 2014-2015 Tundra lower air box. There is a part that is suppose to scoop air from the fender to lower the temp but that's not going to happen. The best solution would be to wrap the entire airbox in the gold heat shield foil and insulate the intake tube in similar stuff. I've seen the Subaru guys do it to the intake because the amount of heat soak they get and it's able to drop intake temps. Now the TRD intake box alone and the lower box added up is roughly $600 retail.
