Transport an 80 from Knoxville, TN to Bay Area, CA

New to the shipping game.... never had a transported before.

First, is anyone planning to head from Knoxville, TN to Bay Area, CA?

Second, if not... does anyone know a good transport company? Im trying to see if it would be cheaper to fly out there and drive it home - or - have it shipped.

Any help is good help!

Well, I'm a huge proponent of road trips - especially in Land Cruisers. I drove a 40 series from FL to CA, it was awesome. Slow, but awesome.

Second best would be checking out uShip - The Online Shipping Marketplace - Ship Freight, Furniture, Vehicles or Moves . I've had great success with them as well. You essentially post an ad for shipping item from A to B location. Then, people bid on the job. Pretty cool.
