I have a 91 hdj81 and the transmission does not lockup in 2nd. If I put in 2nd going down a hill it is like it is free wheeling and if I put in 2nd on the flat it will shift into 3rd on it's own without moving the lever. In drive it seems to shift just fine , so I am worried that this is a sign of some underlying problem besides the failure to lockup in 2nd. I should also mention there is a extreme valve kit in it. Any help appreciated.
