How difficult is it to change from a standard transmission to an automatic ... my project is a 1986 Toyota 4wd PU.
Anybody have experience with this? My follow-up questions will no doubt be...what fits, what doesn't, trans cooler, transfer case, drive shaft ... the more information I get the better decision I can make.
I'm hoping this would make it easier for my wife to drive the '86 pu, with confidence...leaving me to drive / wrench the '72 project.
