I have a 1969 FJ40 with a 4 speed transmission. She has been running fine until I noticed something a little strange. When I decelerate and then push in the clutch and take it out of gear it will start grinding. This is only when it is not in gear or if I am decelerating with a speed of about 15mph and lower. When I am almost stopped, I can feel something is slowing me down.I took her home after going to the store and parked it for about an hour. I got back in and started down the road and there was no issue. Is it the clutch or the transmission? Does anyone know what could cause this?
