Transmission Fluid Leak (1 Viewer)

Greetings all. Picked up a new to me ‘08 470 about 3 months ago. Loving it so far but have a development. Noticed a couple of nights ago some red fluid on the garage floor. Crawled under this morning and noticed some fluid underneath where I assume to be near what I assume to be a part of the transmission casing. But funny thing is it’s also missing 2 bolts. Anyone have an idea of part number for them or any other advice? Thanks

That looks like engine coolant. Probably leaking from your thermostat housing and filling up under your intake

Interesting. Is it as simple as replacing the thermostat?

Take A look around your engine. Look for a pinkish leak. The thermostat housing is under the throttle body. Behind the housing it attaches to a pipe that is sealed by a o-ring. If it is leaking, it’s just a o-ring and some silicone .
