Transmission adjust

So at red lights sometimes the car sits for a second or two before the transmission disengages with a clunk. Is this transmission engage/disengage threshold something that can be adjusted?

Probably a worn driveshaft slip yolk as opposed to a transmission issue. Try greasing it, or just replace the driveshaft.
