Transfer Locked to Unlocked??

This might seem like a ridiculous question, but here it goes.
I have a 94 80, unlocked. Can I pull lockers from a locked 80 and install the oem front and rear lockers, instead of doing an axle swap just switch out the inners in the diff?

Short answer, no.

It would be easier to just swap out the whole thing.

With much grinding and cutting yes.
You will still need the wiring harnesses and the switch.

Go with a 3rd party locker if you don't have them oem.

Don't you also need the locker ECU that sits in the passenger kick panel?

Thank you all, for the quick replies. I will decide whether an axle swap with e-lockers is more cost effective than air lockers. Considering time consuming work is involved as well.
