....and a six-point socket instead of 12
Butt
I am having a hell of a time loosening my tranfer case filler plug. It Should be a 24 mm wrench but it is slipping. Any Ideas?
Grind the 24mm socket down that it has real sharp edges, originaly most sockets are rounded, that doesnt work well with these flatheads.![]()
If you have access to a welder you can tack-weld a nut to the top of the plug so you can take it off; since you're just replacing the plug anyway.......
