Ok Gang i need to know who in the Reno .Sparks area is really good with Toyota Transmissions dont trust any shops here in Fallon 2wheel drive and 4x4 any help would be greatly appreciated

I checked out Levrette tansmissions for my 4L60E and DID NOT get a good vibe from that place AT ALL.
I also got a quote from trans craft which was reasonable, but I was gonna get raped on the parts....
That is all I can tell you about the trans shops in Reno.

I use Scotty's over on Glendale, they did a good job swapping in the short O/P shaft on my trans. They also put did the auto on my GMC when it blew up. No complaints.

What are you having done?

Well i need the 80 trans serviced and i need to have the trans in my 87 supra looked at as well and thats about it but im looking for a good trans shop that you guys have dealt with before you know the word of mouth thing

Sounds like Scotty's would be the place, I've had all my auto transmissions serviced there except the 100, it had been done just before we got the rig.

I've heard good things about Elson's but I haven't had any work done by them. They had a look at my Jeep and told me I was having normal wear and tear issues. So at least they didn't invent work.

Well gang looks like the T-Case in the Mini is gonna be ok guy that owned it before me put pure ATF in it and it takes gear oil so everything is cool for now
