Have an old co worker who is rebuilding his old Chevy C10 and is looking for a reputable transmission shop in the area. Anyone got some recommendations?

Don't go to Ammco in Carson City. They gave my son a quote and by the time they were done he had to pay double what they said. I'm sure there are some good shops around. That's the only experience i have had.

Yeah he said that already. Guess he went to them and they didn't know what they were talking about and wanted to charge him and arm and leg.

Heard good things about Arrow, but I haven't had any work done by them.
