wired most of a seven way plug to the 76 pig today. four way, plus a brake controller. wanted to share some info.
rule number one. you'll read a bunch of threads that say you need a converter. ignore them all! i had nothing but problems trying to wire the converter. here's how the connections should be.
white, ground to the frame
brown, into the parking/marker lights (we put them in at the lp lamp connection, because we were wiring at the oem trailer plugs).
green, wire to the green/yellow wires
yellow, wire to the green/black wires.
brake controller has postive and negative going to battery terminals, blue wire to the seven way plug and red wire to the green/white wire coming out of the brake light switch on the pedal. (to test, put a test light in the wire and push the pedal. the light should light up with pedal depressed, but not light up when pedal is up).
