Okay this is going to be my thread for all the mods I have done on my FJczal. I just purchased the all pro adj. lift kit, rear links, front links, uca arms, front skid, and transfer case skid Terry was very responsive throughout the entire process, which is appreciated. I will have this lift installed by next Friday and I'm trying to coordinate it w/ my exhaust shop so I can take pics for a full write up. I will start here w/ my body mount chop this has already been posted, but I want to bunch the build all together.

I had hit up hardcore trails w/ it in total stock (Colorado, flagstaff Sedona lots of hard trails) I had begun to hang out w/ the I h8mud fellas, and we took on Chimney rock loop trail. We decided to go to "Alamo Springs" and I dented my rocker panel and door badly on the trail i was able to get it unbent(see map from chimney rock loop thread) i knew we needed rock rails then. just couldn't afford them.

Here is my body mount chop boxed in this was done first when I planned on getting larger tires, due to not having lift @ the time. It took 2 hours and has done everything I needed it to, no rubbing from the tires what so ever even @ full turn and articulated.

I received some used BFG AT's 285/75/16 and during that process purchased 16" rock crawler wheels from wheelers off road (LINKY)
http://www.wheelersoffroad.com/fjsteelwheels.htm

@ the time i found them under Tacoma wheels but knew their design w/ the brake caliper was the same so i proceeded to purchase. I found a tire guy to balance and install the wheels and purchased a spare from him. He gave me a smoking deal and worked w/ me throughout the entire process. Even to the point of making an invoice for all 5 which I sent to Toyota and just recently received a $1050 check from them (TIRE RECALL).. just happened to come in @ the same time as my tax return.
Everything was dandy until my girlfriend and I hit charouloe gap in tucson (some parts a class 4 or higher, by our selves, no rock rails yeahhh i'm f0cking crazy ) we had made it 18 miles through the trail (see map on charouloe gap thread) 5 hours into it got hung up on the rear link housing (in the carwash). We jacked the vehicle up my girlfriend stayed calm during this episode and helped tremendously. We were able to get out alive and didn't see another soul on the trail for the rest of the day (we would have spent a cold night together out there). We got home and I looked where we got hung up on which was unrecognizable @ that point. I realized that we forgot to sup up the bottom of housing, the following Monday had my boy Jimmie unbend it and throw some 3/16 steel on top of the 1/8" existing creating a unbendable housing w/ skid...... note on left the extra piece welded ...we purchase more durable bolts (also longer) and threw them on.

Next i purchase demello rock rails and we threw those on. Note the dent on the rocker panel from Alamo springs. We had to do slight modifications on the frame due to where we welded the original link skid but this didn't take much time, my boss called me and said hey you want a magnaflow can on Betsy, of course i do YEAHHHH fo free, my boss is awesome and enjoys working on a rig the gets used and is new. See pic above for magnaflow can, this is much better then the oem version, being that it tucks up higher then it. This usually costs around $150 installed, and I can actually feel some horse power gain, it also sounds tight very tough!!!

Now i have a death machine ready for destruction!!!!!

SO LAST WEEKEND i WENT WHEELING 4 DAYS IN A ROW W/ THE ALLPRO KIT..THIS IS A FREAKING SWEET SWEET SYSTEM.
i WAS HEADING TO WORK MODAY MORNING AND FELT SOMETHING STRANGE W/ THE TRUCK. i GOT OUT AND FOUND THAT THE UCA'S HAD LOST THE BOTTOM BOLT WHICH IN TURN MADE ME LOSE THE BUSHINGS AND CUSTOM WASHER. I IMMEDIATLY CONTACTED TERRY FROM ALLPRO AND HE SENT OUT THE PIECES FREE OF CHARGE (GOOD GUY) HE RECOMMENDS USING LOCKTITE ON VARIOUS PARTS OF THE KIT AND WE INSTALLED LOCK NUTS ON THE UCA'S NOW EVERYTHING IS BULLET PROOF GOOD TO GO:)

Trailbus,
Congrats on the mods. It looks awsome. Moab and the road to moab was a blast. There are some pics of the almost finished exo. Let me know what you think. check the Cruise Moab 2007 Thread in the Copper State Cruiser Club

Looking great, but heads up on the front reservoirs, they are supposed to be pointing the oposite direction (adjuster knob pointing forward) so the line curls around & doesnt rub the a-arm during cycling. I cant wait to go to AZ & hit some trails there!

 Yeah the resevoir lines have been fine, no contact what so ever. We figured that was the lowest point of the UCA where as the other side is high. I have been hitting some whoopty doos too.... I've gone over the vehicle many times and everything looks good.....now heheheh....I see what you are saying it will create a loop that tucks within the uca... thanks for the heads up....I will swich them:) hehehe.. i will edit the pics later so no one is confused:)

Mjager going to check those pics right now:)

hey wait wasn"t that my bumper?ha ha ha ha yes i stole to him and i am glad he is happy with it. I like it alot but i went to fab fours so i did not have to remote mount my winch control. Enjoy hope to see you on the trails soon:beer:

good goin sofar trailbus. i've got a yellow rig too, i havent had the tiem to get my mods fabed up yet, nor the money for som of the nice equip i've got, but its nice to see you wheelin it! btw i went to fastsigns and got 3" Vynil Decals printed that say "shortbus." they were like $25 not that you'd neccisarily want somthing taht big but, you could replace the rearwindowl "trailbus1" with a very professional looking 1" decal for very cheap, prolly $5-$10 just a thought =P keep up the good work and if i ever head out to AZ i'll definitly have to go wheelin with ya

Rear Diff and elocker breather (Scuba Driver Mod)

the breather tube is connected to the top of the rear diff on the bottom right, there is a fuel line attached to that it is wrapped up towards the elocker breather on the frame (make sure to have enough slack on it for articulation) @ that point we put a 1/8" 1/4"T attached to the elocker oem location (do not cut e locker just pull the head) and continued w/ the fuel line to the rear storage area (where the jack goes) and that is where it exits perdy cool.

here is the line finding it's exit into the storage
