Having reduced all tyres from 2.4 bar down to 2.0 bar (36 psi to 30 psi) obviously I have four rather pleasing TPMS alarms along with a very nifty little symbol on the dash which looks like a "road kill" warning. Simple just push the rest button job done. Unfortunately on this EU spec model I don't have one. Referring to the manual it just says basically don't have a panic it will reset itself once its brain works out what's going on. It don't ! Any ideas please ?

Do you have a 200-Series Land Cruiser or a 201-Series LX570?

What tires are you running at 30psi?

Is this tire pressure for off-road, low speed use only, or for highway use?

Off road; A/T3 Copper 285 50 20 on LC200 AHC 2014

Can you give me more details on your tires?

From all I can find, Cooper make 3 models of the AT3 tire - AT3 4S, AT3 LT and AT3 XLT. None of these are available in the size you stated.

@gaijin - here's a link to it - only offered outside USA. The load/speed rating is 116/T

I am assuming that's the sort of detail for which you were looking.

@swiftie - did you set the ignition to ON (but without starting the engine), then hold down the reset button until the light blinks three times? This may take a minute or two. Then, in my case, you may have to drive for as much as 20 minutes before the system recovers it's brains.

Hi, I'd love to have done but us poor Scottish peasants don't get a reset button unlike you lot ! That's the problem as I just don't have any way of telling the ECU that I'm happy with the psi figures. I've checked my manual under TPMS warnings and it simply says that the system will reset itself once I presume the pressure readings have maybe stabilised over a period ? Just guessing here but to date the warnings for all four tyres stay stubbornly on. (spare is still at 2.4 bar) HELP !

Sorry, I read that, but it seems the information went straight through my head without stopping or lodging anywhere useful.

My only other bit of help would be if you have access to Techstream (GTS Diagnostic software) perhaps it would have a way to reset.

Thanks; that happens to me with increasing regularity these days as well ! I think I'm resigned to putting up with it until I adjust the tyres back up for more road/less "hill" or off road scenario. Probably my fault but I live on hill/farm land and I adjust the tyres way down if I'm out rather than highway driving as it helps spread the load a bit when its soft. I will try your link thanks.

Sorry @swiftie , info for your tires is beyond my ken.

That's a different tire - link goes to info on H/T Plus. OP is asking about A/T3.

That's not it. Here's the tire in question: Cooper Discoverer A/T3 Sport 285 50R20 116H

But I still can't help.

Actually I think I have it sorted. Once the ECU has learnt the new pressures the warnings have gone off position by position. It takes a while as I adjusted the tyres down three days ago but I have only done short trips intermittently since then. I think there is obviously a pressure band within which the alarm will not activate to allow for hot/cold readings and it needs a period (ignition on time) to learn the new settings.

As far as the 285/50/R20's go they are only available outside the US. I hope they are not discontinued as they are about the best option we have without changing rims. Very few LC200 V8's ever made it to the UK market as the competition from Range Rover was too much. Only 6,000 V8's were ever sold in the UK and they were withdrawn from sale here in 2016.
