Since the ball joint spacers are usually around $100.00-125.00 and a new set of coils is similarly priced I'd say go for it. Basically what I am running in the back of my 4Runner and what I'll be doing to the front soon enough. If you want, peek at my ROTM thread, it shows my lift coils. It's a well established moderate lift setup that's proven to hold up well with really no ill effects. Be sure to get the alignment as soon as possible after the install.

I run the toytech lift in the front of my pu with aal in the rear. My only concern with this is make sure you get a diff drop. I replaced my CV boots and with in two weeks the new ones cracked again. If you have ever done CV work you know what kind of mess it is and you don't want to have to do this job twice. Lucky me I work in a shop, still don't like doing it.
