Yesterday, Saturday 6th March, we had an epic hail storm in Melbourne which damaged my Hilux, my brother's Ford Falcon, and my sister's 1 year old Suzuki Swift. Dad's FZJ80 and Holden Barina(Opel Corsa) were lucky to be undamaged.
Has Toyota published documentation for the second generation Hilux covering the process and procedure for repair of the Roof turret? The other panels dented are the Bonnet and the piece below the windscreen.
Who was the supplier of paint to Toyota in June, 1985? - I've had a few touchups down with PPG's version of 681, but it doesn't match well at all.
I have insurance with a $500.00 excess and with choice of repairer. Is a Toyota dealer panel shop a good way to go, or ask Toyota Australia for a recommendation. - Who ever I choose can I specify that they only use OEM, including paint?
