I bought a 92 toyota 4x4 truck the prior owner had the original fuel injected engine and had approxamitly a 1985 carborated engine put in it.I drove it fof bout a year with no problems now when I can get it to run for about an hour justat an idle when it dies the gas in the bottom of the carb sound like it is boiling I have replaced fuel pump 2 carbs 1 intake each time I did that it ran for a couple days then the same thing happens. once it dies it will turn over like it going to start but that's it. sure could use some help

already checked tank and changed filter don't know what you mean about evil spirits my buddy said sounds likr vapor locked but I don't know anything about that or how to fix it
Vapor lock is when buggy is driven during hot day, then sits in hot sun for 1/2 hour. Engine heat boils away all gas in carb. When started after this hot-soak, fresh gasoline entering carb also boils off for a bit until evaporative cooling (& poor running) cools off components.
Check your charcoal canister and take an air tool and blow out all your fuel lines and your canister

I put a different gas line on the fuel pump and run the gas line into a 5 gal. gas jug it ran for 30 to 45 mins. then it died and wouldn't start again until 2 days later it does that over and over again.
Maybe your return line isn't functioning properly and your flooding it? That's really weird man

I haven't tried that but I guess its possible im beginning to think a stick of dynamite would be the best thing lol
