Howdy...read the below, and discuss. I think this could be a great idea.
We could get a section going on the web site, track local chapter participation, do a final writeup totalling what everyone does.
It'd make a great article for TT if someone wanted to spearhead such a thing.


"I thought that the TLCA would officially say that they are supporting Toys for Tots (Toyotas for Tots). We would ask that all the chapters in turn would try to collect toys for tots at Christmas time and use their local drop off point. Was hoping for Jeff Murrah to make the shirts and have everyone use em. The more I go into it, the more I realize that it may be just too much trouble for the TLCA and you guys. I know you're busy. We're gonna give it a go and see how it turns out. Maybe down the road it would be something other chapters would want to do. Was only thinking of giving back to the community in the name of off roading, the BSLCA and the TLCA.

Toys For Tots

Held by US Marine Corps
Car and truck - Autorama
Atlantis Casino Resort: Sept 29, 2007.
Open to all years of cars and trucks.
Entree fee...
A new unwrapped toy (value $20.00) or $25.00 donation to US Marine Corps "Toys For Tots".
Dash plaques to the first 200 entrants, goodie bags, raffle, music and awards. Judging 11AM - 1PM awards at 3PM. Registration 9AM - 11AM.
This event will benefit the kids in our local area. No funds leave the area.
