your post sounds like your looking for hooks on your rig. yes you should have some sort of recovery point on your rig.

you don't want hooks on the strap because if the strap breaks, you've got one serious ass projectile shooting towards you, your rig, someone else, their rig and it will bust through a w/s or serious f/up a hood...don't ask how i know this.

if you have recovery points on your rig, do not take them off to put a spiffy bumper on. if they are on your bumper, make sure your bumper is mounted well enough to use the points.

a friend took off his hooks when he mounted a new bumper and hydrolocked his runner in a high, fast moving creek, so we couldn't hook the strap to the frame without getting into the creek, which we decided was a far worse option than risking his spiffy new bumper. it did make a nice trophy for the drive home :D
