Tow a car dolly with the bumper hitch???

Can I put a ball hitch on my 92 reg cab 2WD 5sp 22re, and tow another PU or 4Runner with a two-wheel car dolly? The land here in Florida is flatter than hell, so hills are of no consequence. Engine's pretty strong, with 103K.

Personally, I didn't think it'd work without ripping the bumper off, but a mechanic friend of mine says it's probably doable.

What do you all think? What's a good price on a quality used car dolly?

If you don't have a frame mounted receiver, then don't tow ANYTHING.

Your mech friend is trying to drum up business by having you tear your bumper off.

With the proper hitch, will a base 2WD have trouble pulling a 4Runner on a tow dolly? The land is flat.

I towed a jeepster that was highly modified for 300 miles up and down hills with no problem. Not sayin that I would recommend it, but it held up fine for me.
